Summer Activities in Alta Badia

The summer in Val Badia and in the little town of La Valle permits to appreciate landscapes of an inestimable value. In 2009 the natural parc of Fanes- Senes- Braies, directly reachable from La Valle, and the natural parc Puez- Odle have been appointed world natural heritage of Unesco. This important election gives further confirmation to the extraordinary natural value of the Dolomites.

Beautiful woods, green meadows and pastures, clear streams that flow, huge mountains and imposing peaks make of Val Badia a place of excellence to spend your summer holidays.

From La Valle you can undertake each kind of excursion, with different difficulty and lenght. In a little time you can reach a pearl of Dolomites, the natural park Fanes- Senes- Braies, where legends and tales give further charm to the uncontaminated nature. There are also a lot of walks that start from the little town, for example in direction of the meadows of Armentara.

Alta Badia is the ideal location for the bike lovers too, that can explore the Alpin Passes around the Gruppo del Sella to spend unforgettable days. We want to remember as well the Sella Ronda Bike day, where the passes are open exclusively for bicycles.

An attractive opportunity for the summer is also represented by the Mountain Pass. It permits to use the 15 lifts open during the summer in Alta Badia and gives reductions for the employment of public transport in Alto Adige. The Mountain Pass can be requested directly in our house.
