Sport and fun in the heart of the Dolomites

Alta Badia is a tourist destination of Val Badia, that includes the town of Colfosco, Corvara, San Cassiano, La Villa, Badia and La Valle. From the first years of the XXth century, when the first mountaineers came to discover and conquer the Dolomites, Alta Badia has greatly developed, becoming the well-known tourist destination of today.

With its high quality services, ist modern infrastructures, the inviting local gastronomy and the warm ladin hospitality, Alta Badia represents one of the most prestigious destinations of the Alps.

There are many interesting places to visit in Val Badia and its surroundings. In San Martino in Badia you can find the Museum Ladin, dedicated to the ladin culture, history and language. In San Cassiano there's the Museum Ursus Ladinicus, named after a unique species of cave bear, found on the massif of Conturines.
On the Falzarego Pass you can visit the Great War Museum and the galleries and trenches of the war, to not forget the violent disputes that took place in these mountains. In San Vigilio di Marebbe is located the visitor centre of the natural park of Fanes- Senes- Braies and in Longiarù you can still see the mill valley (Valle dei mulini). To spend a very funny day we advise the Adventure Park in Colfosco with suspended courses among the larches.
